This was a commission I did; a battleship for a friend over on DA. Here is the description.
The Ventarii (owned by ~DraconWolf88) Battleship is one of the most versatile and feared in the galaxy. Primarily used as ambush vehicles, these ships have a black metallic substance that they spew for cover. This confuses most radar systems, allowing them to slam into ships going above light speed and crush them with their appendages.
These ships are grown from gelatinous cubes, much like their counterpart scout ships. Many of their weapons are used to slow the ship and track, so the Gargantuan can catch the ship and rip it to pieces. At first glance, some pilots may assume this is some sort of space dwelling creature; particularly in asteroid fields. Other creatures seem to feel the same way, and rarely attack these ships.
